Best Agency's Levine Wins First
George Vlaisavljevich Award
Andy Levine, of Best Agency USA, Boca Raton, FL and a Fidelity Life top general agent, has been named winner of the first George Vlaisavljevich Memorial Award. The award honors the vision of Fidelity Life's late chief marketing officer and is given to outstanding producers who embrace the innovations that enabled Fidelity Life to reinvent the way life insurance is underwritten and approved.

We love it. It means a policy can be issued in 24 to 48 hours with no blood or urine tests, and no hassle. That kind of speed and simplicity is something that very few other companies offer. It's also a big reason why we can flat out guarantee to process life apps faster than any other agency in the country. Our agents like the convenience and they especially appreciate the speed with which they get paid. |

It's major. Consumers don't want to wait for anything these days. We can provide good, fast service without even taking up their time with a visit. Because the app can be approved in as little as 24 hours you have what amounts to an instant transaction and customers just love it. The other day a guy told me he can't even get his dry cleaning back that fast! |
Did You Know?
- About 45% of all policies issued by Fidelity Life are processed electronically using the company's Rapid App underwriting and application system, which can be filed via fax or email. An electronic contracting system is being developed and is expected to be rolled out before the end of the year.
- Training materials for Rapid Decision Term with online Rapid App processing are now available online to FLA appointed agents who have a valid user ID and password. These training materials include an overview of the Rapid Decision Term Application Program, an introduction to processing business using the Rapid App System, customer and agent signature processing, the Rapid App approach online, using the New Business Pending queue and queue management processing. - Productions Reports will be available online in September. You'll be able to track your production throughout the process from Submitted to Pending to Approved to Issued to Paid for any time period. The reports will also show breakdowns by product and by all agents and agencies under a hierarchy.

Fidelity Life Introduces Rapid Decision Mortgage Policy
"America's home buyers now have two great reasons to jump into the market," says Mike Honeysett, vice president of sales and marketing, Fidelity Life Association. "First, home prices are lower than they've been in years and, second, we're about to introduce an innovative insurance product called Rapid Decision Mortgage Term. It will have face amounts up to $500,000, the highest available, and it's the only 40-year term product on the market."
Best of all, says Honeysett, if applicants are in good health and have had a mortgage in the past 13 months, Fidelity Life Association can issue the policy within 48 hours. "Some companies take up to six weeks to issue a mortgage product and agents may have to wait another six weeks to get paid," he adds.
Honeysett noted that Fidelity Life has also enhanced its RD Term life product with a Return of Premium option which allows customers to receive up to 100 percent of their premium back at the end of a full policy term. "This is yet another way we are working to offer quality products to the underserved middle market," says Honeysett. "We think both our enhanced RD Term and our new RD Mortgage Term will be very popular with our producers and their customers."
